The Hurt Locker film trailer

Director Kathryn Bigelow’s (Blue Steel, Point Break) war thriller The Hurt Locker has been getting some acclaim at festivals including screenings at Venice, Toronto and the Montreal Festival du nouveau cinéma. It was recently picked up for distribution by Summit Entertainment, and should be in theaters later this year.

The Hurt Locker is an edge-of-your-seat thriller set in Iraq, and follows an elite Army bomb squad unit that’s forced to play a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse in the chaos of war, and must come together in a city where everyone is a potential enemy and every object could be a deadly bomb.
