The Changeling trailer launches

The first trailer for the Clint Eastwood thriller Changeling, has launched.

Changeling tells the fact-based tale of Christine Collins (played by Angelina Jolie), a single mother living in 1920’s Los Angeles, whose young son goes missing one day. Months later, police find the boy and return him to his mother – with only one problem – he’s not her son.

A case that rocked California’s legal system and uncovered the institutionalized corruption that festered in the prohibition-era Los Angeles police department, the Eastwood-directed crime thriller co-stars John Malkovich, Colm Feore and Amy Ryan.

Changeling will be in theaters on Halloween Day, October 31, 2008. Check out the trailer below.

Film Fetish Trivia: Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski, who wrote scripts for the upcoming films Silver Surfer, the Wachowski Brothers-produced Ninja Assassin, and the book-based zombie flick World War Z, penned the screenplay for Changeling.
