Ghostbusters reunion film moving forward

Variety updated recent rumors about Columbia Pictures prepping a new installment of its blockbuster Ghostbusters movie franchise. According to the report, the studio has contracted The Office producers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to write a script for the film, which will bring back the original cast of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. Columbia wouldn’t comment on recent developments and has been hush-hush on recent rumors that there was any interest in making another sequel in the franchise.
