The New Lady in the Water Trailer

The new trailer for Lady in the Water makes it clear that this film is no fairy tale. It’s a thriller on par with M. Night Shyamalan’s other creations, including The Sixth Sense, The Village and Signs.

Lady in the Water centers on apartment building superintendent Cleveland Heep (played by Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti), who rescues what he thinks is a young woman from a pool he maintains. He soon discovers that she is actually a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the journey back home. But seriously evil creatures are trying to prevent that from happening.

Next up for Shyamalan is Life of Pi, a magical story centering on the precocious son of a zookeeper, whose family decides to move to Canada, and has an adventure on the high seas with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and a 450-pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, all fighting for survival.
