Hard Candy revolves around a 32-year-old man who takes home a 14-year-old girl he meets on the net; possibly with ideas that end up on the evening news. But the tables are turned when he gets rolled himself. But what is this young girl really after? Sadly, the tables are rarely turned, but it’s interesting that someone came up with the idea that they could be. Hard Candy premiered at Sundance in 2005, and got swept up by Lions gate.
