This is a list that will be hotly contested. Below is a link to the WGA list of 101 greatest screenplays of all-time. Some obvious favorites for me includeNorth by Northwest, The Shawshank Redemption, Fargo and The Sting. Some surprises (at least to me) included Tootsie, The Sixth Sense andBack to the Future. Don’t get me wrong, I think they’re great films, but I figured them to be on another list, like greatest Sci-Fi or Comedy or something.
