Absolute Angels Picked up by Time Warner

Warner Brothers has picked up the spec teenage horror-comedy script Absolute Angels, written by Genevieve Jolliffe and Andrew Zinnes, for Jolliffe to helm in her U.S. directorial debut, Variety reported. The film concerns a lonely goth girl who gets invited to join the high school cheerleading team only to learn the cheerleaders are actually a pack of vampires.

Jolliffe, who comes from London, wrote and directed Urban Ghost Story, which was nominated for 2 British Independent Film awards in 1998.
