Quentin Tarantino Presents Winter Kills Screening Series From A New 35mm Print at Film Forum (2023)

Jeff Bridges, half-brother of a murdered American president and son of one of the country’s richest men (John Huston), sets out to find the assassination conspirators. With guest appearances by everyone from Elizabeth Taylor to Toshiro Mifune. This new 35mm print, the first struck in over 40 years, was supervised by the movie’s camera operator, John Bailey, who also shot additional scenes a year after principal photography, when DP Vilmos Zsigmond became unavailable.

Winter Kills is directed by William Richert and stars Anthony Perkins, Belinda Bauer, Brad Dexter, David Spielberg, Dorothy Malone, Eli Wallach, Jeff Bridges, Joe Spinell, John Huston, John Warner, Michael Thoma, Ralph Meeker, Richard Boone, Sterling Hayden, Tomas Milian and Toshiro Mifune.
