Synopsis: When Sheba Hart (played by Cate Blanchett) joins the St. George’s School as an art teacher, Barbara (played Judi Dench) senses a kindred spirit. But Barbara is not the only one drawn to her. Sheba begins an illicit affair and Barbara becomes the keeper of her secret. Notes on a Scandal is a story of loneliness, loyalty, envy and love.
The film also stars Alice Bird, Tameka Empson, Emma Kennedy, Max Lewis, Jeff Lipman, Bill Nighy, Joanna Scanlan, Philip Scott, Andrew Simpson and Juno Temple.
