The first trailer from Natalie Portman’s controversial Goya’s Ghosts

In Natalie Portman’s new period piece Goya’s Ghosts, the Spanish painter Goya (Stellan Skarsgård) becomes distraught and gets entangled with the Spanish Inquisition when his muse Ines (Portman), is arrested by the church for being a heretic who practices Jewish rituals. The painter must make a decision whether to use his connection with a powerful monk he is painting, to secure the release of the woman.
