Ryan Reynolds reveals Deadpool costume online

Ryan Reynolds recently unveiled the first official reveal of the costume he’ll don in the film adaptation of the Deadpool origin story.

Based on Marvel Comics’ unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool, aka “The Merc with a Mouth,” the film tells the story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson. After undergoing a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. The cast of Deadpool includes Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein and Gina Carano.

Tim Miller directs Deadpool, which hits theaters everywhere on February 12th, 2016. Check out the first image of Deadpool, below.
