Columbia Pictures has released a second trailer for the Marc Webb-directed The Amazing Spider-Man, which hits theaters on July 3, 2012.
In the new origin film for Spider-Man, Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents (Campbell Scott and Embeth Davidtz) disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), his father’s former partner.
The Amazing Spider-Man stars Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Chris Zylka, C. Thomas Howell, Sally Field, Embeth Davidtz, Denis Leary, Hannah Marks, Campbell Scott, Annie Parisse, Stan Lee, Kelsey Chow, Amber Stevens, Michael Massee, Irrfan Khan, Megan Taylor, Skyler Gisondo, Michael Papajohn, Barbara Eve Harris, Kari Coleman, Max Charles, Alexander Bedria, Patrick Alan Davis, Miles Elliot, Jake Keiffer, Leif Gantvoort, Charlie DePew, Maury Morgan and Jacob Rodier.
