Monsters vs. Aliens trailer

Monsters vs. Aliens follows the fall out from a meteorite hitting a young California girl named Susan Murphy, turning her into a giant monster. After being taken to a secret government compound she meets a ragtag group of monsters previously rounded up over the years. Under the guidance of General W.R. Monger, and on direct orders from The President, the motley crew is called into action to combat aliens and save the world from destruction.

The movie features the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Seth Rogen, Rainn Wilson, Stephen Colbert, Kiefer Sutherland and Paul Rudd. It is being co-directed by Rob Letterman (Shark Tale) and Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2). It will also be one of the initial slate of films that Dreamworks will release in their sophisticated new 3D format (See 7/23/2008).

Monsters vs. Aliens hits theaters in March of 2009.

Film Fetish Trivia: Seth Rogen is gearing up to play newspaperman Brit Reid in the long-in-development Green Hornet film, scheduled to be in theaters sometime in 2010.
