Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures have signed David Fincher to direct the fantasy film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, which he will begin shooting in October 2006, Variety reported.
Benjamin Button revolves around a romance that sparks between a woman of 30 and a man who, at 50, begins aging backwards. The film is based on a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
