Midnight, Mass. comic being adapted into weekly NBC series

NBC has picked up a live-action series adaptation for John Rozum’s comic book series Midnight, Mass., which is published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. That’s according to a report by THR.

Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts will write and produce the project for Warner Bros. television, which revolves around Adam and Julia Kadmons, a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband-and-wife team who solve supernatural mysteries and crimes.

Over the years, almost a dozen producers at the studio have apparently looked at developing a project from the comic, but this is the first time such a project has been set up at a network.
