In case you missed it the first time around or want to see it again on the big screen, now’s your chance to catch the movie Dope, returning to theaters nationwide today. The film is was a critical hit and audience favorite out of the Sundance Film Festival.

In the film Dope, Malcolm (Shameik Moore) is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles while juggling college applications, academic interviews, and the SAT. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

The cast includes Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Kimberly Elise, A$Ap Rocky, Blake Anderson, Keith Stanfield, Chanel Iman, Quincy Brown and Zoe Kravitz. Dope is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and is produced by Forest Whitaker, Nina Yang Bongiovi. Executive producers include Pharrell Williams, Michael Y. Chow, Rick Famuyiwa and David Lonner, with Sean Combs co-executive producing.
