Latest trailer for The Protector 2 hits the net

This is a recent trailer for The Protector 2 (Tom Yum Goong 2) that I somehow missed while traveling overseas a few weeks ago. Magnet Releasing will place The Protector 2 On Demand and on iTunes March 27th, then release the film in U.S. theaters on May 2nd, 2014.

The Protector 2 reunites Tony Jaa with director Prachya Pinkaew, who he worked with on Ong Bak. The film tells the story of an animal lover named Kham (Tony Jaa), who refuses to sell his war elephant to a corrupt gang (led by the Wu-Tang’s RZA). Kham is then framed for his boss’ murder and has his beloved pet abducted. The Protector 2 also features martial artist Marrese Crump, who previously appeared in RZA’s The Man with the Iron Fists.
