This Sunday, October 10th, here’s a trio of exciting horror events happening at New York Comic-Con 2010. These events will be held in the IGN Theater, and take place just after the Nikita presentation with Maggie Q.

The Vampire Diaries Special Video Presentation and Select Cast Q&A

11:30 AM to 12:30 AM – IGN Theater
Select cast and executive producers from The Vampire Diaries sink their teeth into the Big Apple today – a New York Comic Con first! Now in its second season, the series continues to suck fans in with its compelling cocktail of sexy drama, mystery and, of course, vampires. From Bonanza Productions, Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

MTV Presents Unbreakable: Ten Years Later With M. Night Shyamalan

12:45 PM to 1:45 PM – IGN Theater
M. Night Shyamalan (“The Sixth Sense,” “Signs,” “The Village,” “The Last Airbender”), one of the most successful filmmakers of our time, joins MTV News’ Josh Horowitz for an anniversary retrospective of the groundbreaking comic book movie. Don’t miss this exclusive one-time event as the director takes fans inside the fan-favorite film with never-before-heard stories and special surprises.

The Walking Dead on AMC

2:15 PM to 3:45 PM – IGN Theater
AMC will premiere the first full scenes from the network’s highly anticipated series, “The Walking Dead.” In addition to the exclusive preview, the stars and producers of the drama, based on the comic book written by Robert Kirkman, will be present. The event will include series stars Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually), Jon Bernthal (“The Pacific”), Sarah Wayne Callies (“Prison Break”), Laurie Holden (The Mist), and Steven Yeun (“The Big Bang Theory”). Joining the cast are writer, director, executive producer and three-time Academy Award nominee Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) and executive producers, Robert Kirkman and Gale Anne Hurd (The Terminator, Aliens, Armageddon). “The Walking Dead” will premiere on Halloween at 10pm EST on AMC.
