Halle Berry eyeing shark attack thriller

Halle Berry is very close to signing on to star in the Clark Johnson (S.W.A.T.) action thriller Dark Tide, according to Variety. Twilight producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will produce the film.

Amy Sorlie wrote the script for Dark Tower, which follows a diving instructor who returns to the deep after a near-fatal incident with a Great White shark. The film is set to shoot in South Africa later this year, with John Baca and literary manager Sukee Chew executive producing.
