Paramount has nabbed rights to a pitch from writers Brian Koppelman and David Levien that takes place in the world of Costa Rica-based online casino gambling, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star in the film, and produce under his Appian Way banner, alongside Jennifer Davisson Killoran.

The project is in Koppelman and Levien’s wheelhouse, having written the scripts for Ocean’s Thirteen and Rounders, which followed Edward Norton and Matt Damon through the high-stakes underground poker scene in New York City.

According to the report, DiCaprio is also teaming with Koppelman and Levien on the adaptation of Josh Bazell’s crime novel Beat the Reaper, which New Regency won in a bidding war.

DiCaprio next stars in Martin Scorsese’s thriller Shutter Island, due out in October of this year.
