Check out this extended trailer for The Vampire Diaries

The CW has posted an extended trailer from The Vampire Diaries, a new show coming to the network, from Kevin Williamson (the Scream film series, Dawson’s Creek) and Julie Plec (Kyle XY).

The Vampire Diaries is based on a series of books by L.J. Smith, and revolves around a young woman who’s torn between two vampire brothers, one good, one evil, that are battling for her soul, as well as the souls of her friends, family and the small town where they all live.

The series stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Sara Canning, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Kayla Ewell, Michael Trevino and Chris William Martin. The Vampire Diaries debuts this fall and will air on Thursdays at 8 p.m.
