Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper are two members of Joe Carnahan-directed The A-Team

Now is the perfect time to confirm the rumor that Bradley Cooper will indeed play Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, the role originally played by Dirk Benedict in the big-screen adaptation of The A-Team. After all, he’s become a certified star, with the comedy hit The Hangover tearing up Las Vegas and the box office.

According to Empire Magazine, also joining the crew is Liam Neeson – who’s currently cementing the bad-ass status he recently achieved in Taken – by playing Zeus in the Clash of the Titans remake. He is attached to play the captain of the The A-Team, John ‘Hannibal’ Smith.

Narc director Joe Carnahan, will helm the film adaptation of the cult ‘80s TV show, which follows the exploits of four resourceful Army veterans on the run for a crime they didn’t commit.

There’s no word yet on who will play the two remaining members of bunch – including African-American tough guy B.A Baracus (originally played by Mr. T) and the insane pilot, Capt. H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock (portrayed in the TV show by Dwight Schultz).
