Five Killers adds new cast members

Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Mull have joined the cast of Lionsgate’s action comedy Five Killers, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film already had Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl attached to star.

Robert Luketic – who helmed the gambling flick 21 – is directing Five Killers, which begins shooting in France and Atlanta later this month, and is scheduled for a June 4, 2010 release.

The story follows a hitman (Kutcher) at the top of his game who falls for a computer tech (Heigl) and decides to give up the life. Years later, their suburban life is destroyed when he finds out there’s a hit out on him, forcing him and his wife to go on the run.

Selleck and O’Hara will play Heigl’s overprotective parents, and Mull will play Kutcher’s handler.

Bob DeRosa and Ted Griffin wrote the original screenplay for the film.
