Robert Rodriguez to produce new Predator film?

I would place this under total rumor right now. But if it turns out to true, fans will immediately start to wet their pants and throw hulk-like fits, in a dynamic convulsion of mixed feelings. According to an exclusive report at Bloody Disgusting, a reliable source revealed that Robert Rodriquez and his Troublemaker Studios will be producing a Predator remake/reboot/re-imagining – whatever they’re calling it these days – for Fox.

The pitch apparently says that the new film would have more than one predator.

“In the reboot a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters.”

No writer has been attached, and there’s no script. There’s also no word on whether or not Rodriquez will direct the film.
