Revenge of the Sith on DVD this Halloween

We’re mere months away from the time when you can feast your eyes on all six Star Wars films in your own home. On October 31, Revenge of the Sith is coming to DVD, completing the saga that started thirty years ago.

The DVD, as you’d expect, is headed our way in a features-packed 2-disc set. As you’d also expect, the film will have very high quality picture and sound – but that ain’t all. There’s also a full-length documentary on the making of the film, as well as two shorter featurettes. One of these will focus on the film’s amazing stunts, and the other one will explain the prophecy of the Chosen One, hopefully filling a few minor plot holes while it’s at it.

They’re also loading the DVD with all 15 of the short web documentaries that appeared on Hyperspace throughout the production – AND there’s a demo of the new ‘Star Wars: Battlefront II’ game, which is released on the same day as the film.

As with the two previous instalments, there will also be a feature commentary with Lucas, McCallum, Burtt and other members of the production team.
