:New War of the Worlds Trailer Coming Friday

The latest trailer for the upcoming Tom Cruise / Steven Spielberg epic War of the Worlds will premiere at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on Friday March 18, 2005 – Exclusively on Apple.com Trailers. As soon as the trailer is available, we will post direct links to all sizes, which will of course be in glorious Quicktime.

There was a rumor on the web last week that the trailer was leaked, but it was found to be completely untrue.

War of the Worlds is a contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells’s seminal classic, the sci-fi adventure thriller reveals the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it.

The film is set to hit theaters on June 29.
