At least for the moment, we have exclusive access to the new teaser trailer for the War of the Worlds game, which is being released this Summer along with the Tom Cruise film. The trailer still doesn’t expose the mysterious creatures that attack the earth, but it still gives some incite into the destruction we can expect to see in the movie.

From Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures comes the motion picture event of the year: Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds, starring international superstar Tom Cruise. A contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells’s seminal classic, the sci-fi adventure thriller reveals the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it.

War of the Worlds lands in theaters on June 29, 2005.
