New Casting for Transformers Movie

DreamWorks has confirmed that Megan Fox (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen) has signed on to play the female Lead, Mikaela, in the upcoming live action Transformers movie, which will be directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon, Bad Boys II, The Island).

Other recent casting for Transformers include Shia Labeouf (The Battle of Shaker Heights) playing Spike Witwicky, Jon Voight (Pearl Harbor) will play Keller, Tyrese Gibson as Epps, Bernie Mac as Bobby Bolivia, John Turturro as Simmons, Travis Van Winkle as Trent, and Michael Clarke Duncan (Armageddon) is in negotiations to play Figueroa.

Optimus Prime, Megatron, and other Transformer characters have not been cast yet. They can be cast much later in production as only their voices are needed.

In the Transformers, dueling alien races, the Autobots and the Decepticons, bring their battle to Earth, leaving the future of humankind hanging in the balance.
