The Universe Opens for Film and Music

Film and Music Entertainment, Inc. has acquired the film rights to “Music to Move the Stars” by Jane Hawking. The book centers on the early turbulent life of Stephen and Jane Hawking, of how they met at Oxford, their marriage, his rise to fame and physical decline, her unselfish dedication and support and their subsequent divorce leading to a life long friendship. The film’s title is set as “Theory of Everything.”

Stephen Hawking’s (world famous astrophysicist genius and pop culture icon) theories range from radiation emanating from black holes to space-time singularities based on the theory of general relativity. He is best known for bringing quantum physics to the public’s attention through his best-selling book “A Brief History of Time” which has sold over 9.5 million copies worldwide. Stephen Hawking continues to combine research into theoretical physics together with an extensive program of travel and public lectures and family life (he has three children and one grandchild).

Jane, who shared his early triumphs and setbacks for many years while delaying her own academic career pursuing her PhD, is thrilled to be working with John Daly on this project.

“I think this will make an extraordinary film about extraordinary people,” John Daly said.

The film is scheduled to be put into production in the latter part of 2006. Film and Music Entertainment is an independent entertainment production and distribution company, which produces high quality, theatrical feature films for worldwide distribution.
