Wow. This was pretty bad. Where do I begin?
To say this flick was pretty much the epitome of “clichés” pretty much sums it up. Nothing really new but even their attempt on the “old” was…well…old. Bruce Willis offered nothing fresh, while Tracy Morgan pretty much showed that one can only take his style of humor in small doses as opposed to leading role-doses. It’s evident he’s best as a sidekick.
Buddy cop films need to have chemistry between the two “buddies” but this duo seemed “forced together” and Willis seemed like he was sleepwalking through the whole movie, basically just collecting a paycheck.
There are the occasional laughs and chuckles but not enough to go peep this at the theater. This is strictly DVD, so opt out of Cop Out.
