Extended trailer for Phantom miniseries now online

An extended trailer has been released for The SyFy Channel’s Phantom miniseries, which is based on the classic Lee Falk superhero. The trailer includes storyline elements, including the fact that it’s clearly an origin tale, featuring a young version of the masked crimefighter, as well as revealing the Phantom’s look for the series.

The legendary superhero returns in this modern-day, action miniseries. When Kit Walker learns of his father’s death, the adventurous young man inherits the mantle of his superhero father. As the new Phantom, the 21st in the Walker line, Kit vows to uphold and honor his ancestors’ creed—to fight crime and injustice throughout the world.

The Phantom is being directed by Paolo Barzman, and stars Ryan Carnes (Desperate Housewives) as the purple-clad hero, along with Cas Anvar, Isabella Rossellini, Sandrine Holt, Cameron Goodman, Trevor Hayes and Robert Crooks.
