After the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction, Khan. Chris Pine returns to the role of Captain James T. Kirk in the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek Into Darkness.
Star Trek Into Darkness hits theaters on May 17, 2013, starring Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura, Karl Urban as Bones, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu, as well as Peter Weller, Nolan North, Bruce Greenwood, Elly Kaye and Alice Eve. Benedict Cumberbatch is rumored to be playing Captain Kirk’s nemesis Khan.
