Hong Kong’s Media Asia, which recently attended the American Film Market, nabbed multiple sales deals for Bruce Lee, My Brother, a biopic of the legendary martial artist and actor, as told by his younger brother Robert Lee. This according to a report by Film Business Asia.
Bruce Lee, My Brother, which was co-directed by Manfred Wong and Raymond Yip, stars Aarif Lee and is expected to be released soon.
The project sold to A-pock in Japan for a seven figure dollar deal and to The Weinstein Company for North American distribution. Bruce Lee, My Brother also sold to Icon for Australia and New Zealand, to Showbox for the UK, Kulangsu for Russia, Encore Film for Singapore, Ram Entertainment for Malaysia, PT Teguh Bakti Mandiri for Indonesia, Sahamongkol for Thailand, and to Applause for Taiwan.
Media Asia also scored continuing sales on the previously released Legend Of The Fist: The Return Of Chen Zhen — to Atlantic Films for Scandinavia. Legend Of The Fist will be released by Well Go USA (See Here) in the U.S.
