A-Team director circling Fantastic 4 reboot?

Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot film is already casting up, with actors being linked to the five main roles. However ComicBookMovie reports that the studio isn’t far from choosing a director to go with those cast members.

According to the report, Joe Carnahan (Narc, Smokin’ Aces, The A-Team), David Yates (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) and James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin) are among those on the short list to helm the film.

The Fantastic Four reboot is expected to take a very different tone than the Tim Story-directed films, and has had a number of actors rumored to be attached to play leads, including Adrien Brody, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and True Blood’s Stephen Moyer (which the actor himself later denied).

Fantastic Four isn’t due in theaters until 2013, so Fox has a little time to make a match made in comic book movie heaven.
