Indie Spotlight: Anky Cyriaque finds A Cat In Heat

With the release of his first short film on iTunes, titled A Cat In Heat, Anky Cyriaque introduces a wave of life to the world of comic strips. In the 15 minute short, Cyriaque captures the eerie mystique wedged between comic book fantasy and reality as lead character Jacob – a socially awkward comic book writer – is left with a strange house guest over the weekend, only to discover strange consequences when a set of mysterious rules are broken.

Featured in the May issue of Heavy Metal Magazine, Cyriaque has landed a distribution deal with Universal and World Class Distribution for the release of his impending line of shorts, as well as feature films.
