Trailer for Sundance favorite Sin Nombre

One of the jewels of Sundance, Sin Nombre will be released by Focus Features next month. Directed by Student Academy Award winner Cary Fukunaga, Sin Nombre picked up directing and cinematography awards at the Park City fest, and Fukunaga is being called an astonishing new voice in cinema.

The film revolves around a Honduran teenager trying to pursue the promise of America while reuniting with her father. It also delves into the dangerous gang lifestyle many immigrants face in their home countries.

Sin Nombre stars Paulina Gaitan, Edgar Flores, Kristyan Ferrer, Tenoch Huerta Mejía and Diana Garcia, and will begin a limited release on March 20, 2009.
