The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Frost/Nixon, The Reader, Revolutionary Road and Slumdog Millionaire, were nominated for best drama, during the reading of nods for the 66th annual Golden Globes.

In the comedy or musical category, best picture nominees are Mamma Mia!, Burn After Reading, Happy-Go-Lucky, In Bruges and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Meryl Streep took home two nods, one for best dramatic actress, for her role in the film Doubt and as best musical/comedy actress for her role in Mamma Mia! Kate Winslet also nabbed two nods, winning recognition as best actress for her role in Revolutionary Road and for supporting actress The Reader.

Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for best dramatic actor in Revolutionary Road, along with Frank Langella, who plays Richard Nixon in Frost/Nixon. Brad Pitt was also nominated for Benjamin Button, Sean Penn, for his role as Harvey Milk in Milk, and Mickey Rourke, for his “comeback” role in The Wrestler.
