The Hollywood Reporter just broke news about Fox TV’s mid-season schedule. I won’t go through every special event, game show and other non-essentials, but here’s some info on the action dramas that genre fans want to see, but now need to stay home on Friday’s to watch:

Joss Whedon’s action drama Dollhouse will air on always low-rated Fridays. According to the report, the series was originally scheduled for Mondays, partnered with the return of 24. Instead, House will open Mondays, followed by 24.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is also moving to Friday and will serve as the lead-in to Dollhouse.

American Idol and Fringe will be paired on Tuesdays.

Fox will partner Bones and Hell’s Kitchen on Thursdays. The crime drama has been performing well and Fox had originally intended to shift the medical detective drama to Fridays.

What bothers me about this salad mix, is that I don’t want to watch action dramas or thrillers and then watch reality shows. I look forward to my Monday nights, where I can watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Prison Break. By the way, where is Prison Break? I guess I don’t follow these schedules enough to know.

Below is a trailer and an additional clip from Dollhouse.
