According to The Hollywood Reporter, Xzibit is in final negotiations to join The Rock in Columbia Pictures’ upcoming sports drama Gridiron Gang. Xzibit will play Malcolm, assistant coach of the team in the movie.

Gridiron Gang is Inspired by a 1993 documentary that follows a probation officer (played by The Rock) who forms a football team of juvenile inmates.
