Fantastic Four: Budget Stretches and a Behind the Scenes Feature at Yahoo

Just looked at a decent preview of the new Fantastic 4 movie over at Yahoo. The featurette shows a shooting day in which Stan Lee gets to finally have some dialogue in one of his signature cameos. He and Jack Kirby should be proud of where the great characters they created have gone (most of them). The film opens on July 1, 2005. We’ll see if they will continue to be proud.

A bit more on the film: I read an article over at Dark Horizons that said that Fox is committing an additional sum of up to $20 million to make the final battle scene more believable. They were apparently inspired by The Incredibles’ Elastigirl stretch effects.
