Director Tyler Perry (Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madea’s Family Reunion) brings us another heart-felt slice of life, this time starring Gabrielle Union (Running With Scissors, Bad Boys II, Deliver Us From Eva) and Idris Elba (HBO’s The Wire).

Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls revolves around a single dad (played by Elba), who is a blue collar garage mechanic and an Ivy-League-educated attorney (played by Union), who find romance, while she is trying to help him win custody of his kids.
