The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires was a groundbreaking collaboration between Hong Kong and The United Kingdom’s largest genre film studios of the 1970’s, Shaw Brothers and Hammer Films, respectively. In Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, vampire hunter Professor Lawrence Van Helsing is giving a lecture in China. He’s soon approached for help by seven kung fu trained siblings seeking to reclaim their ancestral mountain village. The martial artists’ land has come under the domain of seven powerful vampires and their army of undead slaves.

Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires was co-directed by Cheh Chang (Five Element Ninjas, The Brave Archer and His Mate, Ten Tigers of Kwangtung, The Flag of Iron) and Roy Ward Baker (TV’s Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, The Monster Club, The Vault of Horror) and stars Peter Cushing, David Chiang, Julie Ege Julie Ege, Han-Chen Wang, Robin Stewart, Szu Shih, John Forbes-Robertson, Robert Hanna, Shen Chan, Tsan-Hsi Ma, Chia-Yung Liu, Hark-On Fung and Tino Wong.
