Jackman Takes a Drive

Universal Pictures has optioned the book Drive by James Sallis for Hugh Jackman to star in.

The story is set in the seamy underside of Southern California and Arizona, centers on a stuntman who moonlights as a wheelman during robberies and discovers that a contract has been put on him.

Next up for Jackman is X Men 3, which hits theaters this summer, the Wolverine spin-off film and Good, which is also in production, about a professor of literature who evolves into an Auschwitz official, set in early 1930s Germany.
