Afro Samurai Trailer and the First Scene Online

Afro Samurai focuses a Black samurai in a futuristic yet feudal Japan who is on a mission to avenge the wrongful death of his father. Afro is a warrior who travels a solitary path encountering a myriad of enemies, friends, and challenges beyond imagination.

The animated series will feature original music by The RZA, and stars Samuel L. Jackson (Home of the Brave) in the title role, Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as Justice, the man who killed Afro’s father, and sexy Kelly Hu (Scorpian King, X Men 2) as Okiku.

It will begin airing on Spike TV on January 4, 2007.
