First full cast photo from The Walking Dead adaptation

AMC has released the first photo featuring the entire cast of their upcoming series, The Walking Dead. THR first debuted the shot.

The shot reveals the toll living in a town being ravaged by zombies can have on its residents.

The full six-episode series, The Walking Dead, will make its debut during AMC’s Fearfest this October, but SDCC attendees will get an exclusive preview next week, featuring the cast and crew live. The series is written, produced and directed by three-time Academy Award-nominee Frank Darabont and produced by Gale Anne Hurd (The Incredible Hulk, The Terminator). The story centers on Rick Grimes, a small-town cop who leads a group of survivors in their struggle against a world overrun by zombies.

The cast includes Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jeryl Prescott, Steve Warren, Laurie Holden, Emma Bell and IronE Singleton.
