Director Edgar Wright has posted a mysterious image from the blue screen set of his upcoming film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which looks to be Michael Cera, who plays the title character, rigged up to to a rotating unit of some kind CLICK on the image above to see the full size pic, which really reveals Cera’s details. One of the commenters on Wright’s blog, actually said the rig was originally created for The Matrix films, but I don’t have any confirmation on that note.
In the comic that the film is based on, Ramona V. Flowers (Winstead) uses supernatural subspace portals to travel between locations, and Scott Pilgrim (Cera) must defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends in order to win her heart.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh, Alison Pill, Jason Schwartzman, Ellen Wong, Satya Bhabha and Mae Whitman. The film will be released sometime in 2010.
