BloodyDisgusting first got wind of these on-set photos from the now-filming Machete, which is lensing in Austin, Texas with Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Robert De Niro, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson and Jeff Fahey.

Machete revolves around the namesake former Federale and undercover day-laborer, who’s hired by a corrupt politician to assassinate a senator. Just as he’s about to take the shot, he sees someone aiming at him and realizes he’s been set up. Having barely survives the sniper’s bullet, he’s out for revenge with the reluctant assistance of his old friend (Cheech Marin) who’s become a priest and taken a vow of nonviolence – that is, until he picks up a pair pump-action shotgun (at least in the Grindhouse trailer).

Robert Rodriguez’ Machete is due in theaters in 2010.
