Sony has recently posted the trailer for Freedomland online.
Freedomland opens on December 23, 2005 in New York and L.A., then on January 13, 2006 wide.
The Joe Roth directed film tells the story of a single mother (Julianne Moore) who blames an African-American man from the projects for the disappearance and possible murder of her son, creating a racial controversy. An African-American detective (played by Samuel L. Jackson) and a white newspaper reporter team up to investigate the case, which they discover may be more complicated than they expected.
