Television series Dan August centers on Detective August (Burt Reynolds), who works the crime beat in his home town, Santa Luisa CA. Detective Dan August works for – and against – many of the same people he grew up with. Dan August also starred Richard Anderson, famous for his role as Oscar Goldman in The Six Million Dollar Man, and Norman Fell, who went on the play Mr. Roper in Three’s Company.
