Unique MMA event to mix fights, food and celebrities – all on the beach

On the weekend of July 7th, MSXN MMA & Sports XTREME Network – which operates a broadband martial arts television station – is organizing a rather unique event in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event, called MMA & Sports Expo’s Show of Strength, will feature a mixture of MMA fights, food contests, a martial arts expo, strongman contests, legendary wrestlers such as Tony Atlas & Dan “the Beast” Severn, and much more, all laid out on the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and its beaches.

Martial artist and iconic cult film actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa will also make an appearance, demonstrating his martial arts with his student Choo Shin Do.

Events like this are the epitome of what summer’s all about and action movie fans should enjoy the mix of physique contests, food and martial arts demonstrations. For those interested in opportunity, there’s even a Combat Fighter Casting Call sponsored by Global Proving Ground.

Described as a summer bash like no other, The MMA & Sports Expo Show of Strength returns to the Boardwalk and Beach in Atlantic City at The Pier Shops at Caesars casino and Bally’s July 7th and 8th 2012, featuring Celebrities, World Champion Strongmen, the Muscle Beach Bikini & Physique Championships, and the Mariani Gourmet Food BBQ Competition.

UFC Legend Dan “the Beast Severn” Mortal Kombat Star Cary Tagawa “Shang Sun” and Sifu Cliffs Kung Fu Masters Teaching Seminars inside the Pier Shops at Caesars, Strongman tossing concrete filled kegs on the beach, 300 lb. dumbbells and good ole fashioned arm wrestling are only a few of the attractions at the most anticipated power and strength event of the year. The Show will feature an array of events for the entire family. New this year we have added the Train Studios Muscle Beach Bikini & Physique Championships and our Battle on the Beach BBQ contest sponsored by Kurt Angle Foods with a $50,000 branding prize to the winning recipe. The MMA & Sports Expo Show of Strength features world class lifters, old time feats of strength, seminars and an expo with your favorite gear. Open to the public, the Expo will be a one-stop shop for all the latest trends in sports gear, fitness equipment, apparel and nutritional supplements. The event will be covered locally by the MMA & Sports Xtreme TV show and will air on MSXN.tv a brand new Digital 24 hour a day television network with 14 channels of combat, strength and physique programming powered by Neulion.

Additionally, this year the Expo will feature our Beach BBQ & Cooking contest where fans get to taste and vote on the best BBQ and food from famous places like Phillips Seafood, the Continental and Muscle Maker Grill.
